SMS Notifications for Service Appointments
Customers of businesses using RovaRoute may receive SMS notifications related to scheduled service activity, including appointment confirmations, reminders, on-the-way messages, and service completion notifications.
How Phone Numbers Are Collected
Phone numbers are only collected when a customer voluntarily provides their number during scheduling or service intake. By providing a phone number, the customer consents to receive these transactional service messages.
SMS Consent
SMS consent is collected via our web opt-in form. The form requires users to actively check an unchecked consent box before submitting their phone number. Consent is not implied and is recorded at the time of submission. Messages include STOP/HELP instructions.
Message Purpose
Messages are not used for marketing or promotional purposes. All messages sent through RovaRoute are transactional in nature and directly related to scheduled service appointments.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies by service activity. Typically, customers may receive:
- 1 message when an appointment is confirmed
- 1-2 reminder messages prior to the scheduled appointment
- 1 message when the service provider is on the way
- 1 message when service is completed
Opt-Out and Help
Reply STOP to any message to opt out of future SMS notifications. Reply HELP for assistance.
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan.
